Assuming you are referring to the specific name by which the manufacturer uses, generally you can get this by the VIN#, usually there is a digit or sequence of digits that would include the standard options like color.
The other option is an options sticker usually on the door, glovebox, or in the trunk.
The easiest way without doing too much research though is always to search online for what options there are for your make/model/year and figure it out from that, as there usually aren't that many shades to choose from.
