Is there a time limit for compensation from a work related injury

Question

Is there a time limit for compensation from a work related injury

Answer

Yes! The payments are to start with 14 days of reporting the claim (when responsibility is accepted), then continue each 14 days automatically while the authorized treating doc writes the worker is Totally Temporary Disabled. Then when the case is concluded and there is an Order (from either a settlement or a trial), payment on that order is due within 25 days of the judge delivering the order to the insurer OR 30 days, if the applicant agreed to give the insurer 30 days from the date the order was issued.
