I know only certain areas in Virginia will allow you to file a Chapter 7 on your IRS - I live in Colonial Beach, VA - do they allow filing bankruptcy Chapter 7 on IRS debts?
Answer
It has nothing to do with where you live or file. It has to do with how old the taxes are, when they were assessed, when the returns were filed, and whether there was any fraud or evasion.
