My husband appointed me as his Power of Attorney... He is incarcerated until 2013. We have been talking about my establishing his credit, via a credit card or vehichle purchase... I have the paperwork, but am unsure where to go from here. Can I just fill out applications in his name (for credit cards)? Any response would be appreciated.

It all depends on the language of the POA. Sit down with the attorney who prepared it, or with another attorney in your community.
