Where is a herbie car?
Technically, everywhere. No one kept records of the original moviesand what happened to the cars. One estimate puts the number of carsused in all, but the most recent movie (Herbie: Fully Loaded) ataround 50 cars.

What also doesn't help is that the thousands of car museums aroundthe nation all claim to have "the original Herbie",. with somebeing obvious replicas, and others simply unverifiable. Theres evenan "original" herbie in a Grand Junction, Colorado car museum.

Original actor Dean Jones was given one, and in 1969, Volkswagendealerships were given decals to have Herbie's in their showroomseverywhere, to promote the movies.

We may never fully know the answer.
