my son passed away from an accidental overdose. I had physical and residential custody of him. His mother who didn't want him hence why I had custody is trying to sue me for his belongings. Who has the right to them?

If he had no children and was not married and had no will his parents would share his estate eqaually unless

one of you has some special entitlement to an items or items.
