I was charged with a few misdiminers and a felony. The mis. was dropped to an obstruction but i never heard about my felony. The judge told me if i dont hear aboutnit in 6 months to not worfy about it? I have yet to hear about the felony since and its been a year. Should i still worry? It can possibly ruin my start of my career so i need to know what should i do and what does this. Mean?
Answer
In Ohio you have to be indicted in order to be charged with a felony. That means that the prosecutor has to put on enough evidence before a grand jury. To convince them that there is enough evidence that it would be fair to charge yo with the crime. If he can't do that, then that might be the reason for the delay.
