Long story short I was convicted of possession/paraphernalia of marijuana in 2008. Now that marijuana is legal in the state of Washington, I'm trying to vacate my record. Is it possible to do this by myself, or do I need a lawyer?

Are you wanting to vacate the judgment or expunge the record? In either action there is no requirement that you have a lawyer, but you may find it is complicated enough that you should have a lawyer handle this matter.
