Question

Ny grandmother who lived in Germany died in 2011. I was told at first that I was a heir, but now am being told that I am not. Is there a way I can get a copy of her Will through the Court in Germany? Also do grandchildren have "forced heirship" rights? My grandmother was married at the time and had one brother but I cannot get any answers from them. Do I have any rights as a grandchild to inherit from her estate? And can I get a copy of the Will?

Thank you for any help you can be to me to see if I should pursue this further.

Phyllis

You must contact an attorney in Germany.
