What happens when you use an improperly grounded electric power tool do?
You could receive the shock of your life!
It depends upon what you mean by 'improperly grounded'! For example, if the ground (earth) wire is not connected to the chassis of the power tool, and there is no other fault within the tool, then nothing will happen. On the other hand, if the line conductor then inadvertently makes contact with the ungrounded chassis, then the user may experience an electric shock.
