I just confirmed last night - March 23, 2012, that it is my neighbor who has been harassing me for over a year with a laser gun. I want to sue them for emotional and mental distress. I had the police come earlier this year to locate the source of the laser and the officer was unsuccessful. I have an eye witness account from last summer. The laser has been pointed at my head while I sit at my computer. Once, the microwave sparked when the laser gun was discharged. Due I have a case for mental and emotional anguish? Thank you. The problem is not whether you have a case but whether you can prove it and prove to what extent you were damaged.
