My wife has a divorce decree that states her ex must pay half of all out of pocket medical expenses for their children. She has some medical expenses for the children that are in collection. Will she be responsible for the total collection or can she negotiate on half and give them her exes information for the remainder?

She will be responsible for the amount owing initially. Her obligation is to submit proof of payment of the expenses to her ex who then must then reimburse her his one- half within 30 days.
