Should you power cars by using spirits?

Should you power cars by using spirits?
Generally speaking, it would be impractical to power a car just on spiritous liquor. If you are producing high alcohol content ethanol, you know how much effort goes into the process. If you can produce better than 90% alcohol, you are doing well and probably should water it down and drink it rather than feeding it to your car. If you insist on feeding it to your car, be prepared to do some modifications to your car and lots of tweeking and tuning and experimenting with different plugs and timing and fuel/air ratios. Alcohol doesn't perform the same way Hydrocarbon fuels do. In Australia we run E10 Unleaded fuel which is 10% Ethanol 90% Hydrocarbon fuel, there is a considerable difference in power and consumption, with E10 being lower powered, and more consumption, at higher concentrations of Ethanol, I would expect an even poorer result.
