I live in a condo and my AC unit recently flooded and caused some water damage to my unit and the neighbors unit. I've agreed to pay for the damages the water caused but now they want me to pay for a service call they placed with a washing machine repairman. They say that when the water was first noticed they thought it was from the washer (they previously had a leak from the washer). Am I liable for an errant service call on their part?

If it was reasonable from the scenario presented to them that their washer was the source of the problem, then the service call expense is part of their claim.
