Can you convert a 5 speed transmission to a 6 speed transmission?
The difficulty of this project depends on the vehicle and engineconfiguration, as well as budget. Certain vehicles can be convertedand upgraded with minimal fabrication while others may requiresignificant labor. Another aspect to consider is just because themanufacture offered both 5 and 6 speed gearbox options does notmean the engine options are apportioned for both.
