Text massage is not the cause of the declining proficiency in eglish of studentds pls give a answer?
That's very much a matter of personal opinion. Though it is generally agreed that SMS messaging, along with "the netspeak n 1337", is affecting the way that English is written and, to a lesser extent spoken, there is no agreement as to whether or not this is necessarily a decline in proficiency or standards.

Many teachers, writers and English experts feel that this is the case and worry that what they see as the beauty of the language will be lost. However, others - who realise that English is a constantly evolving language (look at the difference between modern English and that of Shakespeare, or for an even greater difference that of Chaucer) - feel that it is merely further development of the language.
