How do you remove the heater core pipe from the water pump on a 1999 Durango?

How do you remove the heater core pipe from the water pump on a 1999 Durango?
If it's a 5.2 or 5.9 litre engine,spray some penetrant where it goes into the pump,then use Vise-Grips to turn while pulling out.
