How do you make a clubhouse out of sticks?

How do you make a clubhouse out of sticks?
I've read about it in survival books, "how to make a shelter" kind of thing. I think maybe you poke the end of some long sticks into the ground and tie them together at the top with string. Something like that. You could check some survival books out. (It's good because they don't expect you to have heaps of supplies).
